Sensei Ricardo Wooding
Chief Instructor – JKI Trinidad & Tobago

With more than three decades of dedicated practice, Sensei Ricardo Wooding guides students with a strong commitment to the traditions of Shotokan Karate and the pursuit of personal excellence. He trained and earned his ranks under renowned masters including Shihan Okazaki, Kancho Kanazawa, Shihan Keigo Abe, and Shihan Ichikawa, preserving an authentic lineage of instruction.

As the founder of Fudo-Shin Dojo—meaning “Indomitable Spirit”—Sensei Wooding encourages students to train with focus, discipline, and heart. His contributions to martial arts were recognized in 1998, when he was nominated for Sportsman of the Year.
